After an amazing journey as CIO at ECS, today was my last day in this role. It has been a pleasure to lead the IT team and support the business on its digital transformation journey.
Digital and IT technologies are key drivers for ECS, and I’m confident the future is bright with such a strong IT team. The foundation is solid for turning future challenges into success.
Looking back, I’m proud of what we achieved together:
- SASE implementation
- Haulier Portal launch
- Laptop roll-out
- Modern data platform
But what I value most are the people, the teamwork, and the personal growth we shared. Thank you to everyone who made this journey so rewarding!
As I often say: change = chance.
Every change brings new opportunities.
- I’ll be exploring new ventures in the coming weeks and months—still early days, but I’m excited to see where it leads. I’ll share updates (and lessons learned) here on LinkedIn and on my website.
- I understand that chances and opportunities are not plentiful for everyone, so I’m paying forward the generosity I’ve received: The farewell gifts are being reshared with children at vzw manege Dennenhof, who will soon enjoy a new eco-friendly refrigerator to keep their drinks and sandwiches cool after school.
